Deviation Studio is a place to inspire and be inspired by. For us it is a refreshing way to work with artist that we've connected with. Whether that's here in Portland at our shop, in the lift line, on the road at one of our epic demo trips, or sometimes refered by past artists that we've collaborated with. We're thankful for all of the amazing artist we've worked with so far.
We've been excited to work with our upcoming artist for some time now. Finally, the stars aligned and we're honored to have their art blasted onto one of our snowboard lines.
As a snowboarder, Kahncept's design was created for a snowboarding experience (we all know how cool it feels to have sick visuals on your topsheet while ripping through the trees). So we wanted to honor that and run his design on our Outlier snowboard exclusively this time.
Kahncept chose the Outlier because it’s built to take on everything from early-morning bootpacks to late-afternoon hot laps. The Outlier is our most well-rounded all-mountain machine, and is a great choice for all types of riders. Available in a massive range of sizes from 140cm up to 164cm as well. MEET THE ARTIST: Adam Kahn
Kahncept, currently based in the Midwest, is an accomplished Chief Creative Officer and an award-winning digital artist with over 17 years at the crossroads of art & innovation. Kahncept jumped into the art scene with his sold out Careless Bears NFT collection in 2021. His pieces are meticulously digitally crafted, fusing the childish, the twisted, and the absurd. His playful, bright, and illustrative style manifests a world inhabited by gleefully unique characters—creating an experience that is as unsettling as it is mischievously captivating and fantastical. His art has appeared in shows from LA to NYC to Paris.
