ALL MOUNTAIN // FREESTYLE TWIN
FEATURING THE SUPERFLUID CORE™ WITH PhD™
Clear

Description

SLAYS PARK LAPS AND POW DAYS WITH EQUAL PROWESS.

Soft enough to style out a press and snappy enough to pop over a slow sign, the true twin Joule is our most freestyle-focused board yet. Camber between the feet gives you the control to put down the landing gear without washing out, while mellow rocker in the tip and tail improve deep-snow float and help prevent edge hangups on those not-so-stomped spins. The unique nose and tail shape reduces drag and weight, and helps break the snow’s surface tension to prevent submarining on deep landings.

PhD™ SYSTEM

The Purple Heart Dampening System™ (PhD) is the critical element of our all-wood cores delivering unrivaled vibration dampening and absorption for the smoothest ride in the industry. We achieve this by varying the composition of the core from nose to tail focusing the dampening where you want it and keeping the flex lively where it counts underfoot.

TRI-AXE FIBERGLASS

The ultimate in torsional strength, our Tri-Axe Fiberglass Composite utilizes fibers woven into a matrix with 3 different orientations vs. 2 orientations found in biaxial fiberglass. When combined with our one of a kind all-wood cores – unrivaled torsional strength is produced without sacrificing liveliness for a chatter-free, rail-like, ride.

I LOVE this board. I am a big guy ( 6’2 and 190Lbs) and I ride the 158 as my jib board. Its snappy and locks right onto rails. The bindings go far enough apart for my lanky legs. The shape of the board engages the edge early for quick turns, and the scoop nose keeps you floating when the snow gets deep.
