Description

THE DAILY DRIVER FOR THE POWDER HOUNDS
WHO AREN’T SCARED OF A LITTLE HARDPACK.

Inspired by the extended vertical drop and sometimes-variable conditions of Utah’s Little Cottonwood Canyon, the Mode 112 is the go-to option for big-mountain skiers who need their sticks to perform just as well between storms as they do after an epic powder dump. Whether you’re dropping into pristine chutes, busting through tracked-out chunder, or just racing your buddies back to the bottom of the tram on a sunny groomer day.

PhD™ SYSTEM

The Purple Heart Dampening System™ (PhD) is the critical element of our all-wood cores delivering unrivaled vibration dampening and absorption for the smoothest ride in the industry. We achieve this by varying the composition of the core from nose to tail focusing the dampening where you want it and keeping the flex lively where it counts underfoot.

Triaxl Fiberglass Icon 2020 200x200

TRI-AXE FIBERGLASS

The ultimate in torsional strength, our Tri-Axe Fiberglass Composite utilizes fibers woven into a matrix with 3 different orientations vs. 2 orientations found in biaxial fiberglass. When combined with our one of a kind all-wood cores – unrivaled torsional strength is produced without sacrificing liveliness for a chatter-free, rail-like, ride.

  1. McKay Richards

These skis are amazing! The rip the pow super well and keep you on top but also rip groomers and crud with the side cut profile!

  2. Ski PNW

Ski these in the NW and with the obvious exception of attempting a Super-G/slalom style groomer day they’re basically a one-ski quiver. Plenty the float/response/fun in the deep stuff and they eat up bumps/crud for breakfast – very light and point effortlessly. While they’re not a ski you want to try and push Vmax on consistently (the shape change in the tip can result in a little nervousness at speed), they still bomb groomers at reasonable speeds effortlessly.
